Graffiti: Report all instances of graffiti to the Gilbert Police Dept Graffiti Hotline @ 480-782-4322 for documentation, tracking and paint over. Public Works will probably not match the paint color so we will have to have quarterly painting parties to cover the patches. Also email the information to the HOA Management Company.

Hazardous Waste: What is considered Hazardous Waste? Gilbert has a web page that identifies them for you. Things like rechargeable batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, computers. Drop off point is only 4 miles away at Greenfield and Queen Creek roads.

Adding Structures - Town ordinance for adding structures - see Article 4.101 D of the Land Development Code - says you may encroach no more than 3' into the setback area for added structures like canopies, awnings, covered patios. This means if your setback is 10', you cannot be closer than 7' from the property line. Our CC & Rs, Article 10.21.2 says you must comply with the Town ordinance. You must submit requests for approval to add structures to the architectural committee. Be sure to read the CC&Rs as well as the current Architectural Guidelines before drawing your plans and submitting your request.

Recycling: What can you recycle? This now includes shredded paper if in a clear plastic bag.; Green Waste goes out with the monthly bulk trash pickup.

Street Lights: Report street lights that are out or broken by going to this web page: Street Light problem reporting. Lights are now the responsibility of the Town of Gilbert, not SRP.

Street Sweeping: A Town of Gilbert sweeper will be in there twice a month. Please keep streets clear of vehicles, rocks and dirt. Pickup the free newspapers, they get mangled and dropped in other areas by the equipment. A description of street sweeping operations is located here.

Trash Pickup: The Town of Gilbert picks up uncontained trash once a month. This includes grass, limbs, leaves, boxes of stuff... They will also pickup appliances. Read about Solid Waste and Bulk Trash on their web site. Gilbert requests that trash cans not be put on the sidewalk.

Vote From Home: To get an early voting ballot, request it from the Maricopa County Recorder.
