The mailboxes on Balboa between Merlot and Ravenswood were vandalized
Monday evening. A police report has been filed. The boxes are now
repaired.
For those of
you who receive their mail at that box, your mail was held at the post
office. If you do not have mail in your box that you expected the past
couple of days, you may need to go to the main post office on Val Vista
to pick it up. I recommend you call them to see if they will be
delivering it all before you brave the long lines at this time of year.
If you see
anyone loitering around the mail boxes, please keep an eye on them and
call the police if they attempt to break into them.
A reminder to
you – do not put checks or money in the outgoing mail box. Deliver it to
a local substation for pickup. It is much safer.
