Snakes: We have seen a small snake in the area. Ground Snake or Sonora semiannulata. Non-poisonous, eats scorpions, spiders, centipedes and insects. You really should not kill them. If you don't want it in your yard, catch and relocate it. They come in different colors. More info and pictures.
