OF THE COUNTRY SHADOWS WEBSITE
The Country Shadows website is for informational purposes and is
provided by the Country Shadows Communications Committee, through the
establishment and appointment of the Committee by the Board of
Directors. Its use is for all the Members of Country Shadows
Association. By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read and
agree to all the terms, conditions, and policies contained herein. You
further acknowledge that you accept these conditions and will be bound
by the terms thereof.
The Country Shadows Governing Documents are provided for reference
and any discrepancies between the documents published on this web site
and the documents on record with the
Maricopa Country Recorder’s Office is unintentional, with the
recorded copies prevailing. Lepin and Renehan Management Company
provides financial documents, meeting agendas and minutes, annual budget
with supporting documentation, and any other requested information to
the Board of Directors specifically for Country Shadows Association in
accordance with the executed contract between the two parties. Lepin and
Renehan Management Company does not have any association with the
production of this website. Lepin and Renehan Management Company, its
employees, and representatives are held harmless and relieved of any
liabilities or claims as they pertain to this website and as documented
within their contract.
All personal information, including email addresses - is private and
will not be shared, distributed, or sold to outside sources. Spam will
not be permitted. The Communications Committee and the Board of Directors
will use email addresses for the sole purpose of sending meeting notices
and changes, announcements, and/or updates and the like as they relate
to the Association. Commercial use of any of the information on this
site is prohibited. Members wishing to be removed from any or all
Country Shadows email lists should request such in writing to the
Board of Directors.
Links to outside websites are provided as a courtesy only. Please
understand that this does not mean that the Country Shadows
Communications
Committee, Board of Directors, and/or the Web Administrator have looked
at or viewed all these sites, have checked them out, or endorse the site
or the products contained on that site. In the event the sites
referenced on the Country Shadows website contain material that
offends you in any manner we apologize and disclaim any responsibility
of such material. Links to legal and governmental agencies are for
reference only and are not to imply that this site is providing any type
of legal advice, information or consultation on any matters contained
herein. All matters in which the Association consults with retained
legal counsel will be noted as such.
The Country Shadows Board of Directors, Officers, and Members of
the Architectural, Grounds, Communications and Social Committees,
including but not limited to any subsequent formed committees are
indemnified and held harmless of any and all personal liabilities and/or
claims in accordance with the Country Shadows Articles of
Incorporation, Bylaws of the Association, and the Declaration of
Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions.

NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE
SUBMISSION POLICY
All articles, comments, photographs, and/or opinions are welcome and
accepted. Copy may be submitted by email, hand delivery, and/or via
regular postal mail delivery. Text, whether by email or other electronic
means,
will be accepted in the following MicrosoftÒ
Office
formats – Word (.doc), Excel (.xls), or Power Point (.ppt); artwork,
pictures or photographs in .jpg/.jpeg or .gif formats. All other formats
need to be verified with the
Communications Committee
prior to submission. If the submission is a hard copy or photograph, it
will not be returned to the owner unless requested in writing.
Photographs should have the following information documented – names of
those in picture (if applicable), location, date, and the name of the
photographer. Email and floppy disk submissions are to be free of
harmful, malicious, and/or damaging computer viruses.
Submissions are considered solely the opinion of the author and are
not to be considered the opinion of the Country Shadows Communications
Committee, Country Shadows Board of Directors, Lepin & Renehan
Management Company, and/or the Web Administrator unless otherwise noted.
Photographs and original copy are protected under federal copyright
laws, with all rights to the photographer and/or author respectively,
and shall be noted as such unless otherwise stated. Contents of articles
and/or opinions will not be verified by the Communications Committee and/or
Board of Directors and are assumed to be the original copy of the
submitting party (unless noted otherwise), factual, and true at the time
of publication. The Communications Committee and/or Board of Directors are
not responsible for any or all errors, omissions, and/or inaccuracies
contained herein or any losses, direct or otherwise, as a result of
submitted articles. It is the sole responsibility of the individual to
verify all facts and information.
Personal classified
advertisements are accepted from Members of the Association only as
defined in Section X.XXX
of the Country Shadows Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions.
Personal, company, and/or corporate logos need to be submitted in either
a .jpg/.jpeg or .gif file format and be on a floppy, Iomega 100MB Zipâ
disk or sent via email. The Communications Committee will not recreate,
draw, or design logos for use on the web. The Communications Committee
and/or the Board of Directors reserve the right to amend this policy as
necessary.
In the course of publishing the newsletter and web site, the
Committee has the right to make changes to submissions with respect to
the format, type style, and layout of the respective medium only. The
Committee will not alter or edit content without the author's knowledge
and receiving written permission prior to doing so. Submitted items will
not be checked for grammatical or spelling errors, but will be printed
as written and submitted by the author.
The Country Shadows Communications Committee and/or the Board of
Directors will not censor the content of any submitted material.
However, submissions that - in the Committee and/or Board's opinion -
include, but are not limited to, being slanderous, malicious, derogatory
and/or the like, intended to harm or cause harm, contain profanities,
known to be confirmed blatant lies, and/or violate child protection laws
will not be allowed. Submissions that are in violation of the laws
governing the
Town of Gilbert,
Maricopa County, the
State of Arizona, and/or U.S. Code are prohibited and will be
handled in accordance with the law.
Questions and comments concerning the submission policy can be
directed to the Board of Directors.
